PROTECTING WILDLIFE

The United Nations has designated March 3 as World Wildlife Day. Of course, protecting our wildlife is an ongoing activity for everyone who eats, needs medicine, needs products for clothing and shelter — not to mention a command by God to be stewards of creation. Here are some ways for all of us to protect wildlife:

EXPLORE NATURE — connect, enjoy, respect nature.

LEARN & TEACH — learn about the natural world & share.

PLANT & PROTECT — native plants, trees, supply habitats.

PROTECT ECOSYSTEMS — join cleanups, volunteer.

WATCH DAILY HABITS — reduce consumption, repurpose, repair and recycle items and compost to replenish soil.

ADVOCATE—join advocacy groups, donate, speak up.

VOTE—keep an eye on policies, vote for wise leaders.

The spotlight  during 2026 is to learn and share about medicinal and aeromantic plants (see link below). Let’s all work together to protect our beautiful and diverse wildlife.
