Find Refreshment in God’s Creation

Times are uncertain right now. Our worries, anxieties and uncertainties can depress us and make us less able to hear God’s voice calling us to do the work he would like us to do in the world. Getting out into God’s beautiful creation can help us get our bearings and look at issues with a better perspective. We really can devote time to be in nature and away from our news devices and remain informed. 

Meister Eckhart said it best: “Apprehend God in all things, for God is in all things. Every single creature is full of God and is a book about God. Every creature is a word of God.  If I spent enough time with the tiniest creature — even a caterpillar — I would never have to prepare a sermon; so full of God is every creature.”
