WHICH ANIMAL USES TOOLS?

Here is a fun quiz for you — choose which creature has been observed using tools:  crows, bottlenose dolphins, cows, octopuses, chimps? If you said all of them, you would be correct. 

Crows toss nuts on highways for cars to crush shells for them. They use sticks to pick out grubs from tight spaces.  Bottlenose dolphins put sponges on their nose for protection as they dig into sand for food. Cows have used sticks to scratch their backsides. One used one end of a broom for the back and the other to scratch her belly.  Octopuses take coconut shells with them for an instant hiding place. Chimpanzees use sticks to “fish” for termites, and large leaves for umbrellas. Amazing!
